How it started...

In 2015 and 2016, I ran the London Marathon for the UN refugee agency (UNHCR) and raised over £32,000.  My first running event, the Running With Refugees virtual marathon, raised £7500 alone.  Since then, I have visited refugee camps in Northern Greece and Calais and seen the amazing work being carried out by charities of all sizes to help provide aid and dignity to refugee families in almost impossible circumstances.  I would like Running with Refugees, through live and virtual events, to be able to raise funds to support as many of these charities as possible.
